Please note: This is a Two-Part Workshop!
Part 1) Saturday, May 4th at 11am - mix and mold your planter
Part 2) Saturday, May 11th at 11am - unpack your planters and learn how to cure and prepare them for planing.
Hypertufa planters bring the look of stone into your garden without all the weight. Using a mixture of Portland cement, perlite, water and peat moss we’ll pour our own molds to create our own durable, lightweight, stone-looking planters.
**Bring garden gloves and wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting messy. The molds will need to sit for one week.
Please join us to celebrate the longest day of the year! Sip a cocktail while you stroll the gardens and listen to live music. Guests are encouraged to wear white to this magical midsummer soiree. Ticket are $50 per person.
2023’s Candlelit Winter Solstice celebration was a HUGE SUCCESS. 2024’s Candlelit Celebration will celebrate our work in the gardens this year. The party fee of $100.00 per person will include a customized brick in the Camellia Lathe House area. Spaces will be limited so be sure to book your tickets when reservations open up in October 2024.

We invite families and the Norfolk Community to bring a summer picnic and join us in the arboretum. We are trying to arrange two food trucks if you prefer to purchase food on site. Special activities for children will include gardening related demonstrations and helping in the gardens.
Our Spring Herb Sale and Arts & Crafts show returns.
